FAQs

Wedding Fireworks Questions, Answered

The questions couples ask us first. There are plenty more answers on our FAQ page.

How much do wedding fireworks cost?

Professional wedding displays start at £795, and most couples spend between £1,300 and £2,000. Pyromusicals start at £1,995, which includes the PA system and your first music track. We design every show around your budget rather than selling fixed packages.

How long should a wedding fireworks display last?

Shorter and more intense beats long and slow. Most of our wedding shows run for 4 to 8 minutes of continuous, fast-paced fireworks. That is long enough to feel spectacular and short enough that every second counts. Three minutes of intense fireworks beats fifteen minutes of single rockets going up one at a time.

How much space does the venue need?

We need a firing area at least 50 metres from your guests, roads, car parks and buildings, and further for bigger fireworks. Most country house lawns, golf courses and marquee sites have plenty of room. We carry out a full site survey and risk assessment, and we only use fireworks that suit the space available.

Will our venue allow fireworks?

Most venues with grounds say yes to professional companies, and many of the venues we work with rebook us year after year. We handle the conversation for you: risk assessments, insurance documents, site plans and any noise or curfew conditions. If your venue is hesitant, a low-noise display often wins them over.

What time should the fireworks happen?

The display needs full darkness, and most venues have a curfew of 10pm or 11pm. In summer that usually means a late evening finale after the first dance. In autumn and winter you can fire as early as 5pm or 6pm. We'll help you pick the right moment in your running order.

Can we set the fireworks off ourselves?

You can start them. We hand you a wireless remote so the two of you can trigger the opening of your own display safely from beside your guests, and our crew and computer firing system take it from there.
